We will work with each client to better understand their needs and design a fully customizable DiSC program to fit their requirments.
The coaching method followed is a brain based approach to coaching. What that means is the coach will help the coachee facilitate change by thinking more strategic and focusing on success for themselves and those they may lead. This approach provides clear process and is focused on vision and planning. In addition, this coaching experience is: • Self-directed learning, • Solutions focused, • Structured, • Positive, and • Stretches the client.
Each client will take the DiSC assessment provided by the Emerson Human Resources department. Upon approval, Chris will conduct 360 interviews with three individuals who work closely with the client.
Initial meeting, assess participant’s behavioral style, preferences and tendencies and establish stretch goals with specific measures for the coaching experience. Thereafter, strategies, a map to achieve the goals, will be crafted.
Put the goals and strategies into action. Explore work style and work environment, challenges faced; discuss perceptions, attitudes and beliefs; begin to focus on strengths and opportunities.
As the coaching opportunity draws to a close, a review is conducted with the individual discussing everything that has been accomplished, what remains to be accomplished and what are major priorities for the individual to further his professional career.
Conduct follow-up session; assess what is working, what is not; set new goals for longer term progress. Seek and review feedback on progress made.
